Pocket Solutions started working with PNG Ports about 2 years ago. Both Port Moresby and Port Lae were hampered with outdated paper-based systems for container management, and it simply was time to change. Pocket Solutions visited both sites, made recommendations, and ultimately installed Aruba outdoors AP’s and controllers to serve as the wireless backbone, feeding data out to the Psion Workabout Pro 3’s which were working in the container yard. The end result has been a very successful deployment into a very harsh, hot and humid enviroment.
